A small 2023 study looked at 41 healthy adults aged 18 to 45. After a single 1.8g dose of Lion's Mane, participants performed significantly quicker on a Stroop task involving aspects of attention and processing speed.
It's an interesting finding, particularly because the participants were younger healthy adults.
But it was one small study and one cognitive task.
That's not the same thing as showing that Lion's Mane will keep someone focused through a three-hour revision session or help them learn a textbook more quickly.
